At Turku University of Applied Sciences, we have actively modernized higher education. Innovation pedagogy (Innopeda®), developed by TUAS, is a learning approach that aims to provide students with competences needed in the future work in a sustainable society. In addition to better learning outcomes, our approach can help educational organizations to redesign their learning culture as well as their ways of thinking and acting.

The aim of this training is to offer the participants an understanding of various aspects of Innopeda® and to see the benefits of utilising Innopeda® as a pedagogical strategy.

Target group: Teachers and managers in education, education planners, RDI personnel, or anyone interested in implementing Innopeda® in their organisation.

The training day introduces one or more of the following topics:

The need for change in education
What is Innopeda®
Aims, process, and methods of innovation pedagogy
Next steps for implementing Innopeda® as a strategy

The seminar includes an introduction to the above topics as well as team-based workshops.

Our award-winning smoke saunas offer an enchanting milieu at a forest pond, where your soul is at rest and mind calms down. On the benches of smoke sauna many wise and good decisions have been made, and made the world a bit better, perhaps.

Each smoke sauna has its own jetty from which you can take a dip in the pond. In wintertime, the atmospheric holes in the ice offer you Finnish exoticism at its best!

In connection with the saunas, three are lounging areas both inside and out, so it is possible to do the dining at the same time with the soirées.
